Bloom of the Day and I'm on a new CT

I was so surprised – and excited when I found that one of my layouts was the “Bloom of the Day” at Digital Scrap Garden. Here’s the “Bloom”.

Yes this is me, The Bride, on my wedding day and my sister, the Maid of Honor. David and I have been married for 41 years – imagine that!!! We were so young when we got married – only 19!!! We didn’t hire a professional photographer. David was in the Air Force and was a photographer so we thought we would have his Uncle Frank take the pictures and we would develop and print them ourselves. Need I say more? We never did get them done. I guess after all this time and we are still together, it is time for the album. I started it a few weeks ago and haven’t gotten very far – I keep getting side tracked!! Yesterday I decided I needed to get another page done so I put this one together yesterday. The photos that I have to work with are not very good. Most of them are scanned slides or old negatives. I suppose I could fix them more in PSE7. Maybe someday I’ll go back and do that. For the moment I'm just happy to be getting it done.

New Creative Team

Yesterday I did a couple layouts for Cindy Ritter / Digi Scraps Design using her new kit “ Raspberry Scented Memories”. It is a gorgeous kit!! One thing led to another and I became a part of her Creative Team. I’m excited to work with more of her wonderful designs. Be watching for more on her kits and the LO’s I’ve done using them.
