As empty-nesters we still enjoy a ride in the country and with GPS it’s more fun than ever because we can take the little side roads and all the extra turns we want and still be able to find our way home. LOL! Now we’ve added a mission – PICTURES!! David has a nice Nikon with all the bells and whistles. I have a little Cannon that I can just point and shoot - I like to keep it as simple as possible. A few weeks ago the country roads were calling and we headed out for our first spring drive. It was wonderful. We took little, narrow, gravel roads that were only wide enough for one car and stopped where ever we thought we could get a picture. It’s funny because the pictures we come up with are so different. David focuses in on a broader picture like a long winding road - like this. . .
It’s already June – and I think it’s about time to head toward the hills again! Oh yes – the other thing that is different about our drives now is that we are always watching our weight so the ice cream stop has been omitted! (Bummer!) I think David is planning a stop for a Blizzard in October – good grief he plans ahead sometimes!!!
Thanks for stopping buy!! Hope you are having a wonderful day – be sure to laugh a little!
