Getting Creative - and a Freebie!!

If you know me at all you know I have a bit of an entrepreneur spirit. I had a country craft business for a while and seem to always come up with ideas for business – not always ones that make money!! I think it’s something in the family genes. Last weekend we were at a Farmer’s Market that included a variety of vendors and I suddenly began mentally starting a new business – decorating a booth, managing computer and printer set up and starting a Scrap 4 Hire business. Reality set in and I put that to rest – for now anyway!!

However, I have started taking some digi designing classes at DigiDesignResort. I’ll learn how to create paper and embellishments to create my own kits and some of the things I would need to know about a digi design business. And, who knows, maybe when I retire (or before) I can start a digi design business.

Several weeks ago I created my first papers. Now I have created my first scenery papers. I will admit that I was a bit skeptical at first but once I got started I really enjoyed creating them. I still wasn’t sure how they would be used.So – I played with them for a while – and had even more fun. Today I offer them to you – yep – a freebie - Country Scenery Papers.

Here is my creation – the scenery background paper is made with a photo I took on a morning walk earlier this summer. The other photos are flowers in the yard where we stayed on our Smokey Mountain vacation near Gatlinburg, TN.

I used Orange Spice by Carena, an additional background by Cuddlebeez and the frame by Jealop.

Guess that’s it for now. It’s Saturday morning. I’m enjoying my morning coffee and I have one cleaning project that I plan to accomplish. Other than that I am hoping for a relaxing weekend. Hope you have a great day - and remember to laugh a little!
